Multibeam Data Processing with HIPS 11.4

Designed to provide a basic understanding of the HIPS Essential or HIPS Professional capabilities in order to gain a basic knowledge of HIPS and the latest changes. Learn how to create a Vessel File and HIPS Data Source; editing of Navigation, Motion and Bathymetry data acquired from a Multibeam survey; and, Product Creation which will include both Soundings and Contour creation. This course is based on CARIS HIPS Essential and a valid entitlement (EMS License) of the HIPS Essential, HIPS & SIPS Essential, HIPS Professional or HIPS & SIPS Professional version 11.4 is required for you to complete the training exercise portion of the course (these items are not included with the course).

S-101 ENC Production with CARIS S-57 Composer 4.1

[Introduction to S-101 ENC Production]
This new training course provides you with a practical hands-on introduction to the International Hydrographic Organization (IHO) S-101 Electronic Navigational Chart (ENC) Product Specification as it is used to create S-101 Edition 1.0 ENC products with the widely used CARIS S-57 Composer electronic chart production software. The course introduces basic S-101 terminology and concepts, defining new S-101 ENCs and importing S-57 ENC data, creating and editing S-101 features, and how to complete, export and update S-101 products. It includes hands-on practical examples of creating and processing S-101 1.0 ENC products in the CARIS S-57 Composer 4.1 software. A copy of CARIS S-57 Composer 4.1 and a valid entitlement (EMS License) for the S-57 Composer and S-100 Modules are required for you to complete the training exercises portion of the course (these items are not included with the course).

Learn how to create and populate charts; add borders, marginalia, text and other cartographic features; mask features; validate chart contents; and, export and print completed charts. This course is based on CARIS Paper Chart Composer 4.1 and a valid entitlement (EMS license) is required for you to complete the training exercise portion of the course (the software and license are not included with the course).

S-57 ENC Production with CARIS S-57 Composer
This fully updated self-paced online training course is designed to provide a good basic understanding of how to create, validate and update International Hydrographic Organization (IHO) S-57 format Electronic Navigational Charts (ENCs) using the CARIS S-57 Composer software product. This course includes a section on checking ENC products to ensure that they meet the IHO S-58 Edition 6.1 minimum ENC validation requirements. This course is based on CARIS S-57 Composer 4.1 and a valid entitlement (EMS License) of the S-57 Composer Module is required for you to complete the training exercise portions of the course (these items are not included with the course).

CARIS S-100 Online Workshop (Revised)

[S-100 Online Workshop]

Teledyne CARIS is pleased to present this short online training program that looks at the new International Hydrographic Organization (IHO) S-100 Standard, and the related S-101 Electronic Navigational Chart (ENC) Product Specification that is being developed to support the creation of next generation ENC products. This workshop shows examples of creating and processing S-100 products in CARIS S-57 Composer but no software is required in order to participate. Software is not included with the course.
